Michael is a seasoned intellectual property practitioner with a broad range of intellectual property experience. Having worked his entire career in highly regarded and internationally known intellectual property boutique law firms, Michael has counseled clients in all aspects of intellectual property, including transactional, litigation and prosecution practices. Michael was selected in 2013, 2014, and 2015 as a Superlawyers’ “New York Metro Rising Star”. Super Lawyers also named Michael to the 2018 New York Super Lawyers list in Intellectual Property in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Michael is a registered patent attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office to prosecute patent applications and represent parties in Inter Parties Review proceedings. In addition, Michael has extensively prosecuted patents in the electro-mechanical, software, internet, consumer products, aerospace and medical devices technologies.

Michael specializes in patent and trademark litigation and counseling. He has litigated patents in federal court through trial and before the International Trade Commission in the technological fields of telecommunications and telecommunications equipment, digital image processing, internet and ecommerce, banking operations, digital rights management, firewall security, computer graphics and video displays, automotive equipment, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Michael has also litigated trademark cases in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board involving fashion, jewelry, mass media, medical devices and alcoholic beverages.

During law school, Michael worked for the New York State Attorney General’s Office, in the Division of Appeals and Opinions as an intern for Deputy Solicitor General. Michael was also selected to intern in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in the Chambers of the Honorable John E. Sprizzo.
