We’re thrilled to announce a major success in securing Summary Judgment of Improper Inventorship in a patent case in New Jersey. This outcome marks the end of a seven-year litigation saga, where our client entrusted us to come in and draft the critical summary judgment briefing.
Despite the New Jersey courts’ significant backlog—18 months is the common turn around time for SJ motions—our team secured a decisive victory in just seven months. This decision invalidated the patent based on improper inventorship—a notably rare achievement in patent law.
